Web-deployed VinVision enables detailed monitoring of individual vehicle shipments and inventories throughout a customer’s distribution network. Users can access VinVision through Loup’s website or through their own branded website. Once logged into VinVision, the user can track vehicles and run specific reports detailing network performance, inventories, and productivity metrics. VinVision enables total visibility and provides connectivity and collaboration between all participants in a vehicle supply chain.

VinVision requires virtually no investment in set-up, hardware or software by the customer or its business partners. VinVision is a web-based application that can be accessed by authorized users from any computer with an Internet connection. VinVision is intuitive and user friendly.

VinVision allows each party to the supply chain to use its own data-exchange format including XML, EDI, GPS, FTP, email or even machine-readable fax. This flexibility allows the customer to leverage innovative technology without large scale IT investment or costly upgrades.

VinVision offers a vast array of real-time information, queries, alerts, metrics and decision-support tools to enable more effective supply-chain management and provide a total picture of shipment events and history.

No. VinVision can be easily integrated with a customer’s own web-site or configured to communicate and share data with other applications. To align with customer’s Disaster Recovery Plans, customers and supply-chain partners can access their data directly from the VinVision website if their own network is not available.

Information available to the entire supply chain includes: process deviation alerts, network alert map, vehicle trace with ETA (plus multi-VIN tracking), network inventory reports, service partner messaging compliance reports, performance measurement and graphics, and projected volume forecasts. Additional reports such as facility inventory, aging, non-shippable inventory, carrier scorecards, rail car trace, and rail pipeline in-transit report are available, depending on the user (origin plant, motor carriers, destination railroad, etc.)
